Accessibility Statement Boring but Important

Our business is situated in one of the oldest properties in Denbighshire. 400 year old properties by their very nature are not accessible to all. We do not have a lift in the house to the bedrooms which are all on the first floor. We have small steps all around the house Some of  our bathrooms have baths with Edwardian style mixer taps but some of our rooms have showers. We have ground floor rooms in our lodges whihc are large enough to take wheelchairs.  We can also read the menu to persons with limited visibility. We and our staff are willing to offer any kind of assistance that is required. Although we do not offer room service, we live on the premises, and we will always be on hand in case of emergency. We do all we can to provide all our guests with a personal and caring service, and we try to overcome any barriers that the physical limitations of the property create.

Reservations

Reservations to be confirmed in writing or by e-mail with £50 deposit (non-refundable) per room booked - send a cheque by post.  No extra charge will be made for rooms cancelled more than 48 hours prior to arrival, if less than 48 hours the first nights accommodation tariff will be charged. As with the law in Wales we are totally non-smoking.

Children

Because of the outdoor pool and old chapel and dairy which while grade 2 listed are quite dangerous, we have been advised that it's not a great place to have children so we only accept children over 12.

Pets

Pets are most welcome in the house and gardens (approx three acres) but will need to be on leads if walking the farm land particularly where there are farm animals.

Environmental Policy

Environmental Policy we are committed to helping the environment in the way we run our business and how we encourage our customers to be aware of environmental issues within both our business and the surrounding area. We are committed to reducing pollution where possible and to recycle as much as is possible. We are aware that businesses such as ours have an impact on the environment; an influx of visitor to the area, consumption of fuel, energy and water, the production of waste.
